Production Manager

HIT EC has pioneered the design and manufacture of strain gauge-based force and torque sensors, instruments, and complete test systems for nearly 50 years. It is headquartered in Massachusetts, USA, with a specialized facility in Sri Lanka. HIT EC Sensor Developments (Pvt) Ltd is a BOI company located in Kadawatha. Our management looking for talented, robust, and smart personnel to come on board immediately to join the HITEC Management Team.

Responsibilities

• Ability to develop and implement innovative strategies to improve productivity and streamline factory operation using proper Industrial Engineering methods
• Monitor and follow up the production process against the production plan and achieve the given plan to meet on-time delivery
• Make sure to maintain the quality level of the products to meet quality standards and customer satisfaction
• Develop individuals/ teams to deliver proper production output and organizational development (Attract, Develop, Retain)

Qualifications and Experience Required

• BSc Engineering or similar educational background. Postgraduate qualifications in manufacturing engineering will be added advantage.
• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar capacity but with not less than 2 years of managerial experience.
• Excellent time management, planning, organizing, leadership, and communication skills.
• Working experience in a similar capacity work environment with sound knowledge of QMS and ERP systems relevant to the job.
• Work experience in Aerospace/Sensor manufacturing will be added advantage.
