Key responsibilities
- Strong passion for sales & marketing.
- Identify and approach new potential customers to generate sales leads and grow the business.
- Conduct product presentations and technical discussions.
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable chemical products and solutions.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets set by the company.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree / NDT in chemistry, chemical engineering, environmental engineering, or related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in chemical sales catering to industrial customers.
- Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in both Sinhala and English.
- Ability to travel to customer locations.
- Experience in sales of boiler water chemicals and cooling water chemicals will be an added advantage.
