Key responsibilities

  1. Strong passion for sales & marketing.
  2. Identify and approach new potential customers to generate sales leads and grow the business.
  3. Conduct product presentations and technical discussions.
  4. Understand customer needs and recommend suitable chemical products and solutions.
  5. Achieve monthly and annual sales targets set by the company.
  6. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree / NDT in chemistry, chemical engineering, environmental engineering, or related engineering discipline.
  2. Minimum 2–5 years of experience in chemical sales catering to industrial customers.
  3. Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in both Sinhala and English.
  4. Ability to travel to customer locations.
  5. Experience in sales of boiler water chemicals and cooling water chemicals will be an added advantage.
