Assistant Lecturer – IT

The job

1. Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in computing and IT-related subjects, including one or more of above areas.
2. Develop and continuously enhance curriculum content, learning materials, and assessment methods aligned with industry standards.
3. Conduct research and contribute to academic publications and conferences. Experience in above areas.
4. Collaborate with academic teams to enhance teaching methodologies and promote interdisciplinary learning.
5. Engage in continuous professional development to remain up to date with the latest advancements in computing and information technology.

The person

1. A bachelor’s degree in computing, information technology, computer science, or a closely related discipline.
2. A master’s will be an added advantage.
3. Strong knowledge of core computing concepts; expertise in artificial intelligence (AI) or related emerging technologies will be a distinct advantage.
4. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
5. Prior teaching or academic support experience is preferred; however, outstanding recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
