Responsibilities

  1. Provide academic leadership and strategic direction for assigned programmes.
  2. Ensure effective programme planning, delivery, monitoring, and quality assurance.
  3. Lead and supervise academic staff, lecturers, and programme coordinators.
  4. Develop and review curricula, assessments, and learning materials.
  5. Monitor student progress, academic performance, and programme outcomes.
  6. Ensure compliance with institutional, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.
  7. Coordinate academic schedules, examinations, and student support activities.
  8. Foster industry partnerships and contribute to institutional growth and development.
  9. Obtain and review regular lecturer feedback to ensure continuous improvement in teaching quality.
  10. Monitor the progress and performance of lecturers and academic programmes.
  11. Conduct lecturer evaluations and provide recommendations for professional development.
  12. Monitor student retention, identify dropout cases, and implement strategies to reduce student attrition.
  13. Follow up with students at risk of dropping out and coordinate necessary interventions.
  14. Ensure all academic records, student files, and batch documentation are properly maintained, organized, and up to date.
  15. Verify that all required academic and administrative documents are accurately completed and acknowledged.
  16. Maintain effective documentation systems in compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
  17. Prepare academic reports and ensure timely submission of relevant records and documentation.
  18. Work closely with academic and administrative teams to uphold quality standards and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  1. Master’s degree or higher in a relevant discipline.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in higher education, academic administration, or programme management.
  3. Proven leadership and team management skills.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English.
  5. Experience in curriculum development, quality assurance, and academic operations.
  6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
