Social Media & Digital Marketing Executive

Grand Hotel Nuwara Eliya is seeking a highly skilled and creative Social Media & Digital Marketing Executive with strong expertise in content creation, videography, photography, digital advertising, and advanced technical skills. The selected candidate must independently handle all digital platforms and deliver high quality creative output to elevate the hotel’s brand presence.

Key skills

1. Expert management of all major social media platforms
2. Ability to produce original, high-quality and engaging content
3. Strong knowledge of backend tools (Meta Business Suite, TikTok Ads Manager, YouTube Studio, etc.)
4. Professional videography & photography, including shooting, editing and storytelling
5. High-level graphic design for promotional and branded content
6. Management of digital campaigns: Social Media Ads, PPC, Google Ads, Email & Retargeting
7. Strong SEO knowledge (on-page, off-page & technical)
8. Website and CMS management (WordPress or similar)
9. Excellent command of English; additional languages are an advantage
10. Proficient in digital marketing, analytics & campaign tools

Videography & photography skills

1. Strong DSLR/mirrorless camera handling with creative video & photo skills
2. Excellent understanding of ISO, shutter speed, aperture & frame rates
3. Skilled in cinematic and commercial-style shooting

Artwork & creative design

1. Strong knowledge of color theory, typography & layout
2. Ability to design brochures, menus, flyers, banners, signage & social media ads
3. Experience in full campaign visual development
4. Ability to deliver print-ready files while maintaining brand consistency

Creative & visual production skills

1. Adobe Creative Cloud: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition, Lightroom
2. DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut/VN, Figma (UI/UX layouts), Canva Pro
3. 3D tools (Blender/Cinema 4D – advantage)
4. AI tools: Runway ML, Descript, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, DALL-E

Technical, web & multimedia skills

1. WordPress management, hosting/cPanel & landing page builders (Elementor, Divi, Webflow, Wix)
2. Pixel installation, UTM setup, conversion tracking & performance optimization
3. Coding: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Python, SQL
4. RAW editing in Lightroom & Photoshop
5. Experience with hotel interiors, F&B, events, lifestyle & branding shoots
