We are looking for energetic, passionate, and dedicated individuals to join our team in the following trainee positions:

Program officer (trainee) – Sinhala & Tamil medium

As a program officer (trainee), you will assist in:

Responsibilities

1. Organizing workshops, youth camps, and community awareness programs.
2. Support project documentation, report writing, and data collection.
3. Maintain communication with regional youth groups and stakeholders.
4. Represent the organization in field-level activities.

Requirements

1. A bachelor’s degree or diploma in social sciences, international relations, law, or a related field (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
2. Excellent communication skills in English and either Sinhala or Tamil.
3. A strong passion for human rights and social justice.
4. Ability to travel to various districts for fieldwork.

Account assistant (trainee)

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to support our finance department.

Key responsibilities

1. Assist in maintaining daily books of accounts and filing vouchers.
2. Support the preparation of financial reports for donors.
3. Assist in petty cash management and bank reconciliations.

Requirements

1. G.C.E. A/L in the commerce stream.
2. Foundation level qualification in AAT, ICASL or CIMA is an added advantage.
3. Basic knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
4. High level of integrity and attention to detail.
