Key account executive – SMMT & modern trade

We are looking for a proactive and results-oriented Key Account Executive to support and grow our business within the SMMT and Modern Trade channels across the Central and North Central regions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing key customer accounts, driving sales growth, and ensuring excellent in-store execution.
Key responsibilities
- Manage relationships with assigned Modern Trade and SMMT customers.
- Ensure product availability, visibility, and merchandising standards.
- Execute promotional activities and monitor performance.
- Support sales growth and achieve monthly targets.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
- Prepare sales reports and account updates.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and compliance with company policies.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in FMCG sales, Key Accounts, or Modern Trade.
- Experience handling SMMT and Modern Trade customers is an advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
