Area Sales Executive – Chocolate (Colombo Area)

Due to rapid expansion in our operations we are seeking a dynamic, self motivated and result oriented individual to fill the following position immediately.

Key responsibilities

1. Achieve secondary sales targets and drive volume, distribution, and market share growth.
2. Execute monthly and quarterly sales plans within the assigned territory.
3. Ensure effective outlet coverage, product availability, and visibility.
4. Implement pricing, promotions, merchandising standards, and trade schemes.
5. Strengthen retailer relationships and improve outlet productivity.
6. Monitor distributor stock levels and order fulfillment.
7. Coach and support sales representatives through field visits.
8. Track competitor activity and provide market intelligence.
9. Ensure accurate reporting through sales force automation and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications and attributes

1. Qualification in marketing or a related field.
2. 4 years of experience in a sales role.
3. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
4. Target-oriented with a proven ability to achieve sales goals.
5. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to work independently and travel within the assigned territory.
7. Valid riding/driving license is required.
