Agriculture Field Officer

The Company is looking for a person for the post of Agriculture Field Officer for the newly added Local Jumbo peanut Business operation

Job Responsibilities

• Closely work with the farmer community and build relationships.
• Achieve set targets of out-grower cultivation, and purchase relevant quantities of agriculture raw materials.
• Supervise, monitor, and educate the farming community on ground nut cultivation and yield management.
• Collect and report Agri related data to the senior management
• Ensure proper coordination among farmers.
• Arrange and conduct farmer meetings,
• Visit Agriculture Institutions and farming clusters on regular basis.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 5 years experience in the field of Agriculture Management
• Possess a valid driving/ riding license
• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Tamil, and Sinhala
• An agriculture Instructor with ground nut cultivation experience would be an added advantage
