Merchandiser

The prospective candidate will be responsible for effectively planning and following up procedures and co-ordinate with the respective sections aligned with the delivery of schedules.

Skills/Competencies

• Monitoring and ensuring on-time raw materials ordering in the right requirement.
• Follow up on-time material delivery and status.
• Critical path management
• Dealing with local & foreign suppliers and establishing a good relationship.
• Monitoring inventory levels for raw material ordering,
• Oversee Support and guide the team and work in collaboration to achieve company KPIs.
• Strong analytical and forecasting skills especially in a systemized enjoyment.
• Production process and capacity planning.
• SMV Calculation in GSD or Other System.
• Arranging production Deliveries by coordinating and teamwork.

Qualifications

• G.C.E (Advance level )
• A diploma or certificate course in textile management from a recognized institution will be an added advantage.
• A diploma in Supply chain/Degree will be an added advantage.
• Professional qualifications in merchandising.
• Skills in effective time management, task prioritization, and working under pressurized circumstances to meet deadlines with +100% accuracy.

Experience

• Preferably, 3 — 5 years experience in merchandising & planning function at a manufacturing organization. Experience in the hosiery industry will be an advantage.
