Head of Academics

We currently have a vacancy for Head of Academics. The role reports to the Principal (Sri Lanka campus) with a dotted line to the Transnational Education Quality Manager based in Sydney. The Head of Academics will provide academic leadership and management to the UTS College Programs delivered on our modern and purpose-built campus in Colombo.

The role assumes overarching responsibilities for academic-related matters, leading and managing teaching staff at UTS College Sri Lanka, and ensuring an equivalent student experience and learning outcomes achieved for UTS College students in Sri Lanka.

About you

To be successful in this role you need to have the following:

• An undergraduate degree in a discipline relevant to UTS College academic programs
• A master’s degree in a related academic discipline or Higher Education:
• A postgraduate research degree is preferred
• Fluent in English, Sinhala, and/or Tamil
• Academic leadership experience at an international education institution in Sri Lanka or overseas
