Assistant Manager – Export Sales

Kelani Valley Canneries Ltd., (KVC), a manufacturer and exporter of processed tropical fruits and vegetables, was established in 1968 and is a member of. W. Mackie PLC Group.

We are now seeking a self-motivated individual, to join our team of professionals for the position mentioned above.

Responsibilities

• Promote our product portfolio in the international market by developing and implementing effective marketing and sales strategies
• Prepare annual Export sales budgets and drive toward achieving set goals
• Develop and maintain close rapport with client network of relevant markets and should be able to convince them to get the productive orders
• Identify and pursue new business development opportunities by gathering and analyzing market information including industry trends and competitor activity

Candidate Profile

• A professional qualification and/ or a degree in marketing would be a definite advantage
• Should have 3 to 5 years of experience in selling FMCG products to the export markets
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Strong analytical, organizational, and creative thinking skills
• A self-motivated individual committed to achieving the goals of the company
• Ability to work independently and produce results
