Food Studio gave the island its first ever Food Atrium in a bid to change the country’s landscape and culinary culture. Located in Sri Lanka as the food courts at both of Sri Lanka’s largest international scale malls — Colombo City Centre and the One Galle Face Mall, the company’s expertise spans across Asia – Connecting and Collaborating with international and local restaurants and franchises to bring to Sri Lanka eclectic and diverse dining experiences that are fast becoming a model of F&B development to follow. The company/ s 3rd and newest outlet will be opened at the Havelock City Mall in March 2022.

Job Role
- Responsible to Conduct daily routine checks to ensure the Atrium is operational at optimum levels. Recordings monitoring and reordering stocks when required
- Should be able to monitor & implement daily safety checks
- Should support the Engineering, Marketing & Business Development team with any operational involvement
- Should be able to monitor Service Quality Standards
- Should be able to assist customers in making prior reservations and setting arrangements
- Support the Operations Manager to compile the weekly progress report to Management for review
- Support in managing daily operations at the Food Studio Atrium at Colombo City Centre/One Galle Face mall
The ideal candidate should:
- Be aged between 25 – 30 years.
- Good English communication skills.
- Willingness to build a strong rapport with customers and third parties connected to the functions of the Atrium.
- Self-motivated
- Should be able to manage daily administrative tasks and maintenance of SOPs
- A results-driven work ethic.
- Ability to take calculated decisions in a high-stress environment.
- Prior work experience in a fast-food chain or restaurant is a necessity
Qualifications and educational requirements:
- Partly qualified or diploma in Business Management and/or a F&B related accreditation. – Experienced or inexperienced candidates are welcome to apply for this.
- Should be fluent in English
- Should be fluent in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office software.
