Welder

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented welder to join our Engineering Department at KSPA Packaging Pvt Ltd, a leader in the corrugated and polythene packaging industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding and fabrication work across factory operations, ensuring high-quality standards, safety compliance, and efficient maintenance support. Job profile

1. Perform welding and fabrication of metal parts, jigs, fixtures, and assemblies used in corrugator and polythene manufacturing processes.
2. Ensure structural integrity, durability, and adherence to engineering specifications in all welding work.
3. Inspect welds and machinery components to identify defects or weaknesses and carry out necessary repairs or replacements.
4. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, welding symbols, and technical manuals accurately.
5. Maintain welding equipment, perform routine safety checks, and recommend improvements for optimal performance.
6. Support troubleshooting and maintenance activities related to fabrication and welding work.
7. Assist in guiding and training junior welders or operators on proper techniques and safety practices.
8. Ensure workplace safety by following all PPE requirements, ventilation controls, and company safety procedures.
9. Handle hazardous materials responsibly and comply with environmental and safety regulations.

Person profile

1. NVQ level 4 in welding technology or an equivalent qualification.
2. Minimum 1–3 years of experience in welding and fabrication within a manufacturing environment.
3. Hands-on experience in MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques.
4. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.
5. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety.
6. Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and within a team.
7. Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
8. Strong commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
