Trainee Service Technician

Job description

1. Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and network systems.
2. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues including desktops, laptops, and printers.
3. Provide technical support and resolve IT-related issues for users.
4. Ensure IT system security, backups, antivirus protection, and access control.
5. Support IT operations, projects, upgrades, and system installations.
6. Coordinate IT purchases and vendor-related activities.
7. Implement IT policies and procedures to maintain security and compliance.

Qualifications

1. Diploma in information technology, hardware & networking, or related field (school leavers are welcome).
2. Basic experience in IT hardware and technical support is an added advantage.
3. Good knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and operating systems.
4. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
6. Willingness to travel island-wide for field visits.
