Trainee | Junior – Estimation & Invoicing Engineer

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Trainee / Junior Estimation & Invoicing Engineer. The junior estimation & invoicing engineer will be responsible for supporting the project and finance teams by preparing accurate cost estimates, managing invoicing processes, and ensuring timely documentation for smooth project execution. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key responsibilities

1. Prepare cost estimates and quotations for marine repair and maintenance projects.
2. Analyze technical specifications, drawings and client requirements.
3. Coordinate with engineering and operations teams to gather necessary project details.
4. Prepare and process invoices in line with project progress and contractual terms.
5. Monitor project costs and assist in budget tracking and cost control.
6. Maintain accurate records of estimates, invoices and related documentation.
7. Getting / gathering prices of material and costing.

Requirements

1. Diploma or degree in marine engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
2. Basic knowledge of marine repair processes, ship systems or industrial maintenance.
3. Strong numerical and analytical skills.
4. Good understanding of costing, estimation and invoicing procedures.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
6. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
7. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
