Trade Compliance Analyst

Komar brands team is seeking a dynamic individual with passionate compliance analyst to supports the U.S. customs compliance team by ensuring accurate, reporting, and recordkeeping for foreign-trade zone (FTZ) operations. You are required to work remotely on USA hours and must be flexible with your working hours.

Key responsibilities

1. Monitor and track estimated time of arrival (ETA) for international shipments for specific shipments as assigned to support timely customs entry processing.
2. Maintain and update internal spreadsheets to reflect current customs entry status and shipment movement.
3. Review arrival notices for accuracy and compare details with information in the ABI system.
4. Review commercial invoices, packing lists.
5. Verify that the correct shipments are received in the ABI tool and confirm that the received date aligns with the actual shipment.
6. Cross-check shipment documentation against ABI data to ensure timely and accurate entry processing.
7. Key ISF entry data as necessary.
8. Proactively manage tasks ahead of deadlines to maintain accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
9. Collaborate effectively with team members in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
10. Take on additional tasks as assigned to encourage learning, growth, and professional development.

What you need to have

1. High attention to detail and accuracy in data handling and documentation.
2. Familiar with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, blue cherry, ACS, and comfortable with tracking websites. (These items can be taught if necessary)
3. Prior experience with customs documents (e.g., commercial invoices, arrival notices, BOLs) preferred, (not required, but a plus).
4. Prior experience tracking shipments a plus.
5. Reliable, dependable as position is remote position.
6. Strong organizational and time management skills.
