About the role

Our client is an established catering company seeking a confident and well-presented tele sales & administration executive to join our team. Attractive salary package will be offered to result oriented person.

This is an on-site position only in Dehiwela area. Working from home is not available.

This role suits someone who has an understanding of the food, catering, and hospitality industry and can communicate professionally with customers. Training will be provided.

Key responsibilities

1. Respond to customer enquiries by phone and email
2. Conduct tele sales and follow up potential customers
3. Prepare and send catering quotes
4. Assist in closing sales and converting enquiries into confirmed orders
5. Communicate with the director regarding quotes, pricing, order details and estimated delivery times
6. Provide friendly and professional customer service
7. Update menus, prices and other details on the company website and online platforms
8. Assist with general office and administrative duties
9. Maintain accurate customer and order records

Requirements

1. Excellent spoken and written English
2. Pleasant, professional and confident when dealing with customers
3. Understanding of food, catering or hospitality operations
4. Ability to prepare quotes and respond to enquiries promptly
5. Sales-focused attitude with the ability to close sales
6. Good computer and email skills
7. Ability to work on-site as part of a team
8. Understanding of Australian business communication and customer expectations will be an advantage. Immediate start available for the right candidate
