About the role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Storekeeper to manage warehouse operations, ensuring accurate stock handling, proper documentation, and compliance with internal controls. This role plays a vital part in maintaining inventory integrity and supporting smooth dispatch operations.

Key responsibilities

Inventory receiving & GRN processing

  1. Receive supplier deliveries against approved purchase orders (POs)
  2. Verify quantities, batch numbers, expiry dates, and product condition
  3. Prepare and maintain accurate Goods Received Notes (GRNs)
  4. Report discrepancies such as shortages or damages

Inventory control & storage

  1. Store goods systematically following FIFO / FEFO practices
  2. Maintain accurate stock records and monitor stock levels
  3. Ensure warehouse cleanliness, safety, and proper storage standards
  4. Assist with stock counts and audits

Stock issuing & dispatch support

  1. Issue stock based on approved loading summary sheets
  2. Support loading operations and verify dispatch accuracy
  3. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations

Returns handling & documentation

  1. Process stock returns with proper authorization
  2. Maintain accurate records for GRNs, stock issues, and returns
  3. Ensure all documents are audit-ready and properly filed

Compliance & control

  1. Follow company SOPs and internal controls strictly
  2. Ensure no stock movement without proper authorization
  3. Report any discrepancies or irregularities immediately

Qualifications & requirements

  1. Diploma or certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, IT, or a related field
  2. Basic IT knowledge (MS Excel, inventory systems, data entry)
  3. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  4. Ability to follow procedures and work in a structured environment
  5. Good communication and teamwork skills

Experience (advantage)

  1. Previous experience in warehouse/storekeeping or inventory management
  2. Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems
  3. Knowledge of GRN processes, FIFO/FEFO methods, and stock control procedures
