Responsibilities

1. Receive, inspect and record incoming mechanical spare parts, tools and materials.
2. Maintain accurate inventory records of mechanical items and stock levels.
3. Issue spare parts and materials against approved requests and update stock registers.
4. Monitor minimum stock levels and coordinate with the purchasing department for reordering.
5. Ensure proper storage, labeling and cleanliness of the mechanical store area.
6. Arrange materials systematically for easy identification and safe handling.
7. Prepare periodic stock reports and assist with stock verification and audits.
8. Check the condition of stored items and report damaged or obsolete stock.
9. Support maintenance and engineering teams by providing required materials on time.
10. Follow company safety procedures and store control policies.

Qualifications

1. G.C.E. (A/L) qualification or above.
2. Minimum 2–3 years of experience in store keeping, preferably in a mechanical spare parts store.
3. Good knowledge of mechanical spare parts, tools, and materials will be added advantage.
4. Basic computer knowledge (MS Office / ERP / stock management systems).
5. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
6. Candidate in close proximity to Kuliyapitiya are preferred.
7. Male candidates preferred.
