SPA Therapist / SPA Receptionist (Female)

We are on the lookout for a SPA therapist and spa receptionist for a resort in Tissamaharama. The massage therapist should administer professional massage and body treatments to our guests. They must possess excellent communication skills and be able to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide wellness solutions to meet the needs of our clients. They must hold and maintain a current state license.

Responsibilities

1. Provide individualized bodywork treatments that meet the guests needs and expectations.
2. Obtain the basic medical history for a client, assesses any problems or conditions, and suggest appropriate therapy based on current health of client.
3. Ensure clients feel welcome when they arrive for their appointments.
4. Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and procedures.
5. Maintain a stock of treatments and other amenities.
6. Promote and up-sell products and services.
7. Ensure that a high standard of service is maintained throughout the spa.
8. Assists spa in activities such as staff meetings, promotions, housekeeping duties.

Skills & experience

1. Minimum 3 years as a spa therapist in a recognized salon or hotel.
2. Good knowledge in indigenous and wellness treatments.
3. A formal education in treatments.
4. Professional and customer oriented.
5. Age below 35.
6. Smart and efficient.
7. Working days and hours flexible.
8. Preferably a person living around Tissamaharama.
