Software Engineer – Application Development & Automated Testing (L1-L2 – Testing & Development)

We are seeking a highly competent Software Engineer to join a dedicated development team supporting an an international client in the transport and logistics domain.

The ideal candidate should have proven experience in 2nd line (L2) support, including incident analysis, troubleshooting, and maintaining system stability in live production environments. Additionally, experience in 3rd line (L3) support—including root cause analysis, bug fixing, and delivering permanent solutions in collaboration with development teams—is highly preferred.

You will be responsible for developing modular software components and small-scale applications using C# / .NET, as well as designing and implementing automated test solutions. This role requires close collaboration with the client’s technical teams and adherence to enterprise-level development and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using C# and .NET technologies.
2. Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks in C# to ensure system quality and reliability.
3. Provide L2/L3 production support, including troubleshooting, incident resolution, and root cause analysis.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
5. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance and stability.

Requirements

1. 5+ years of experience in C# and .NET development (including web APIs).
2. Proven experience in 2nd line (L2) and/or 3rd line (L3) support environments.
3. Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field.
4. Strong experience with SQL server and advanced SQL querying and optimization.
5. Experience working in agile/scrum environments.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Professional-level English communication skills (written and verbal).

1. Experience with terminal operating systems (TOS), ERP systems, or logistics platforms.
2. Background in marine, port, or logistics industry systems.
