Site engineer

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented site engineer to support our engineering and project execution team. This role focuses on supervising site operations, coordinating installations, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and in line with technical specifications while contributing to continuous improvement and innovation.

Job profile

1. Supervise and manage solar project site activities.
2. Ensure installation work is completed according to design and safety standards.
3. Coordinate with project managers, technicians, and clients.
4. Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning of systems.
5. Prepare site reports, progress updates, and documentation.
6. Troubleshoot technical issues during installation and operation.

Applicant’s profile

1. Minimum 2 years of experience in site engineering (solar experience is an added advantage).
2. Degree in electrical/electronic engineering or related field.
3. ECSL registration is required.
4. Good understanding of electrical systems and solar PV installations.
5. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
6. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
7. Willingness to travel to project sites across Sri Lanka.
