Senior Team Leader – Airfares & Ticketing

Strong GDS knowledge

You must be confident in at least:

1. Amadeus
2. Galileo / Travelport
3. Sabre

You should be able to:

1. Price itineraries
2. Issue tickets
3. Handle reissues (date changes, reroutes on the same airline)
4. Process refunds
5. Issue and refund EMDs
6. Manage queues and resolve PNR issues

Practical airfare & ticketing experience

(Not deep IATA theory — real-life working knowledge)

1. Understanding penalties and tax changes
2. Cabin upgrades / downgrades
3. Rerouting on the same airline
4. Basic fare rule checks
5. Avoiding ADM-risk mistakes

Senior leadership responsibilities

1. Support and guide junior ticketing staff
2. Check accuracy before ticketing
3. Teach GDS best practices
4. Maintain high standards & consistency
