Senior quantity surveyor

Excello Developers is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented senior quantity surveyor to support our construction projects.

Our requirements

1. Degree or diploma in quantity surveying or civil engineering
2. Minimum 5 years experience in apartment or commercial projects
3. Strong ability to read and interpret drawings
4. Knowledge of construction rates, materials, and billing formats
5. Proficiency in Excel, AutoCAD, and CostX
6. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
7. Good computer literacy

Job responsibilities

1. Perform accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates based on drawings
2. Prepare BOQs and detailed material calculations
3. Evaluate subcontractor quotations and prepare comparison sheets
4. Conduct site visits to verify quantities and monitor progress
5. Track material usage and ensure cost control
6. Identify and resolve construction-related discrepancies
7. Coordinate with site engineers for valuations and billing
