Senior HR Executive

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior HR Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and ensuring compliance with company policies and labor regulations while supporting organizational growth and employee engagement.

Job responsibilities

  1. Manage the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
  2. Coordinate and oversee employee attendance, leave management, and HR records.
  3. Support performance management processes, including appraisals and employee development plans.
  4. Handle employee relations matters and assist in resolving workplace concerns and disciplinary issues.
  5. Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and HR procedures.
  6. Prepare HR reports, employee documentation, and management information reports.
  7. Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
  8. Support payroll processing by verifying attendance, leave, and employee-related data.
  9. Drive employee engagement initiatives and maintain a positive work environment.
  10. Assist management in implementing HR strategies and organizational development initiatives.

Requirements

  1. Diploma or degree in human resource management, business administration, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 2 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or service industry environment.
  3. Sound knowledge of Sri Lankan labor laws and HR best practices.
  4. Experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration.
  5. Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  6. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  7. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
  8. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
  9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
