Key responsibilities

1. Financial record-keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
2. Reconciliation: Reconcile GL accounts, including bank statements, to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
3. Financial reporting: Prepare financial statements and MIS reports.
4. Payment processing: Prepare and process payments to suppliers and vendors in a timely and accurate manner.
5. Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations.

Requirements

1. Should have an undergraduate degree in accountancy or finance from a recognized university.
2. Following an accountancy professional examination such as CA, CIMA or ACCA.
3. 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger.
4. Proven knowledge of accountancy and finance and tax regulations will be an added advantage.
5. Should have excellent analytical, numerical, and organizational skills.
6. Must have attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
7. Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
8. Proficiency in ERP and accounting systems.
