Job summary

We are looking for a dedicated senior executive – planning to manage production planning and scheduling activities, ensuring the efficient utilization of resources and timely delivery of production targets. The role requires strong analytical skills, coordination with production and supply chain teams, and the ability to monitor material availability, production capacity, and workflow to optimize operational efficiency.

Your role will involve

1. Develop and manage production plans and schedules to ensure timely completion of production targets.
2. Coordinate closely with production, supply chain, and procurement teams to ensure the availability of raw materials and resources.
3. Monitor daily production progress and adjust schedules when necessary to avoid delays and maintain efficiency.
4. Analyze production capacity, demand forecasts, and inventory levels to create effective planning strategies.
5. Maintain accurate planning data and update production plans and reports in ERP/management systems.
6. Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials through effective planning.
7. Identify potential bottlenecks in the production process and propose solutions to improve workflow.
8. Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to align production plans with customer requirements and delivery timelines.
9. Prepare and present planning reports, forecasts, and performance updates to management.
10. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy, productivity, and operational efficiency.

You should have

1. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain planning, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
2. Diploma or degree in supply chain management, operations management, industrial engineering, business management, or a related field.
3. Good understanding of production planning processes, inventory management, and demand forecasting.
4. Familiarity with planning tools, ERP systems, and reporting processes.
5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with production, procurement, and sales teams.
6. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a proactive mindset focused on efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
