We are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Senior Executive – Export & International Business to lead and scale our export operations. This role is responsible for identifying new international markets, building strategic relationships with global buyers, and driving sustainable export revenue growth.
This is not a routine export coordination role – we are looking for someone who can build markets, close deals, and position Nelna as a global Agri-brand.
Key responsibilities and duties
- Market development & expansion.
- Identify and develop new export markets (Middle East, Europe, Asia, etc.).
- Conduct market research on demand trends, pricing, and competition.
- Develop go-to-market strategies for different regions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key global clients.
- Work closely with internal teams to develop export-ready product lines (fresh, processed, packaged).
- Align product offerings with international market requirements and trends.
- Optimize pricing and margins across markets.
- Coordinate with logistics, supply chain, and compliance teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Ensure adherence to international standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor shipment performance and resolve operational issues.
- Represent Nelna Agri in international markets.
- Support participation in trade fairs, exhibitions, and buyer meetings.
Qualifications and key requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in export sales / international business (preferably in agriculture, FMCG, or food sector).
- Proven track record in developing export markets and closing international deals.
- Strong understanding of export documentation, compliance, and logistics.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Commercially driven with strong business acumen.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and drive initiatives independently.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
