The job
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to perform data analytics, including creating and delivering scheduled and ad-hoc data reports, business intelligence support and analysis and communicate findings. We would also expect them to utilize and develop quantitative, problem solving, statistical and analytical skills in the different pillars within the actuarial department. This includes valuation, pricing, experience studies and IFRS17.
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience in an actuarial role, preferably in the life insurance sector
- Candidates with lesser experience can be considered for junior roles
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, communication and team collaboration
The ideal candidate
- Below 35 years of age
- A degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial or related field from a recognised university/ institute
- Professional qualification related to the actuarial field would be a definite advantage
