Job responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to promote and sell chemicals for rubber manufacturing related industries.
- Identify and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to create targeted marketing plans.
- Collaborate with the sales team to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and identify potential new customers.
- Prepare market analysis reports, sales forecasts, and performance metrics to guide strategic decision-making.
- Develop promotional materials and support the product team in launching new chemicals and dyes to the market.
Candidate profile
- 10-15 years of experience in rubber industry, preferably in the chemicals sector.
- A degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Sinhala (Tamil proficiency will be an added advantage).
- Sound knowledge of rubber products, applications, and industry trends.
- A proactive team player with excellent negotiation and networking skills.
