Sales Executive | Engineer

Key responsibilities

  1. Drive customer acquisition and achieve revenue growth targets with a long term business perspective.
  2. Identify and qualify leads while assessing potential markets for Schindler products.
  3. Explore and develop new sales and business opportunities through regular engagement across diverse market segments.
  4. Achieve collection targets linked to sales performance.
  5. Utilize strong selling skills, technical expertise, and multi channel presentation capabilities to deliver compelling product demonstrations.
  6. Manage the complete sales cycle from initial customer contact through to successful deal closure.
  7. Prepare quotations, proposals, and tender documents accurately and efficiently.
  8. Coordinate with the installation department to ensure customer requirements are effectively fulfilled.

Qualifications and skills

  1. Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in sales & marketing, engineering, or a related field with exposure to a similar industry.
  2. Prior experience in the elevator industry will be considered an added advantage.
  3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  4. Strong problem solving and negotiation abilities.
  5. Strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities.
  6. Proficient in delivering impactful presentations.
  7. Fluency in both English and Sinhala.
  8. Strong IT literacy.
