Safety officers

Requirements:

1. Successful completion of a diploma course in occupational health & safety with 1 year experience in construction industry or certification course in health & safety with 3 years experience in construction industry. (Priority for CIDA, health & safety diploma course).
2. Verbal and written communication skills.
3. Computer literacy.

Responsibilities:

1. Site inspections and hazard identification.
2. Ensuring the site complies with local regulations and ISO standards.
3. Maintain accurate records and documentations related to health and safety activities, including permits, inspections and training records.
4. Provide guidance and trainings to employees on health and safety protocols, emergency response procedures, and safe work practices.
5. Investigate incidents, accidents and near misses; analyze root causes and develop preventive measures to enhance workplace safety.

Safety supervisors

Requirements:

1. Successful completion of a certificate course in occupational health & safety with experience or equivalent or 1 year experience in similar capacity.

Responsibilities:

1. Communication with workers about health and safety information.
2. Starting of health and safety task at the location.
3. Participation to internal health and safety meetings.
4. Maintaining safety in construction sites.

ESO – interns (environmental and social officer)

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or equivalent.
2. Strong knowledge on environmental regulations, safety standards and best practices.
3. Analytical, communication, interpersonal, language, presentation skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain ISO management systems.
2. Maintain accurate records and documentations related to EHS activities, including permits, inspections and training records.
3. Provide guidance and trainings to employees on environmental, health and safety protocols, emergency response procedures and safe work practices.
4. Investigate incidents, accidents and near misses; analyze root causes and develop preventive measures to enhance workplace safety.
5. Assisting project manager and HSE manager.
6. Reporting to HSE manager.
