Research & Development Executive

A reputed Agrochemical Company based in Colombo is seeking an energetic and motivated individual to join its R&D team as a Regulatory Affairs Executive.

Key responsibilities

1. Assist in agrochemical regulatory affairs and bio-efficacy evaluations in coordination with the Department of Agriculture and relevant research institutes.
2. Conduct regular visits to agriculture related regulatory authorities (e.g., Peradeniya, Bathalegoda etc.) and support liaison activities within the assigned regulatory portfolio.
3. Support and conduct in-house bio-efficacy trials to facilitate product development and registration requirements.
4. Prepare and maintain regulatory documentation, reports, and trial summaries etc.
5. Ensure timely follow up of submissions and communications with relevant authorities under supervision.

Ideal candidate profile

1. BSc degree or diploma in Agriculture.
2. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with good command of English.
3. Proficient in computer applications with good administrative and presentation skills.
4. A responsible team player with a high level of professional ethics, integrity, and accountability.

The selected candidate should be based at the Colombo head office and be willing to travel to outstations as required as outlined under the key responsibilities.
