Responsibilities

The quantity surveyor will hold the following responsibilities and duties:

1. Conduct site visits to assess renovation requirements and identify suitable solutions.
2. Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents for renovation projects.
3. Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate renovation work requirements.
4. Analyze project costs, monitor budgets, and control expenditures.
5. Attend client meetings, respond to queries, and provide professional cost advice.
6. Evaluate contractor quotations and recommend cost-effective solutions.
7. Prepare interim valuations, final accounts, and variations as required.
8. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project specifications.
9. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to manage cost efficiencies.

Requirements

1. Qualified with a diploma certificate / NCT/ NDT or bachelor of science degree in quantity surveying from an accredited internationally recognized institution or equality university or technical colleges.
2. Proficiency in cost estimation software and MS Excel.
3. Excellent post contract experience.
4. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
5. Able to act on own initiative and proactive way.
