Quantity Surveyor | Technical Officer

Requirements

1. Diploma or degree in quantity surveying or related field
2. Minimum 1–3 years experience in a similar role
3. Good knowledge of construction materials and costing
4. Ability to use MS Excel and other relevant software
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
6. Good communication skills (Sinhala & English)
7. Having a valid driving licence will be an added advantage

Key responsibilities

1. Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents
2. Measure quantities and prepare material requirements
3. Monitor project costs and budgets
4. Handle billing, valuations, and payment certificates
5. Coordinate with site engineers, suppliers, and contractors
6. Ensure projects are completed within budget
