Quality Assurance Manager

About the company

Pridemo Apparel is an established manufacturer of high-quality Activewear, Kidswear, and Swimwear for international markets. We are looking for a result-oriented professional to lead our Quality Assurance team at our manufacturing facility in Karamba, Kalpitiya.

The role

1. Direct and manage the plant’s QA/QC operations to achieve zero defect production.
2. Ensure all processes align with buyer-specific quality manuals and international AQL standards.
3. Lead the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and internal quality audits.
4. Manage fabric testing, in-line inspections, and final buyer audits.
5. Provide technical guidance to the production team to resolve construction and quality issues.

Applicant profile

1. Education: Degree or diploma in textile technology or quality management (CITI, SLITA, or equivalent).
2. Experience: 5+ years in apparel QA, with at least 2 years at a managerial level.
3. Technical: Deep expertise in knit/woven garment construction and global compliance standards.
4. Leadership: Proactive leader with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
5. Communication: Excellent command of English; knowledge of Tamil is a significant advantage for the region.
