Quality Assurance Executive

Metshu Exports (Pvt) Ltd is a leading exporter of coconut products in Sri Lanka. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Quality Assurance Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, and the better knowledge and experience in BRC, ISO, IFS, and other food safety certificates. The position is full-time and offers competitive salary and benefits.

Job role

1. Understand customer needs and requirement.
2. Review specifications for products or processes.
3. Submit detailed QA-related reports to Head of Quality Department.
4. Set requirements for raw materials or intermediate products for suppliers and monitor their compliance.
5. Ensure adherence to food safety guidelines as well as legal obligations.
6. Inspect final output and review for compliance.
7. Maintain all the documents related to food safety audits and buyer audits.
8. Engage QA-related documentation regarding customer inquiries.
9. Evaluation quality inspection related to critical process steps.

Requirements

1. Degree or a professional qualification in food science or any other food-related field.
2. Better knowledge and experience in BRC, ISO, IFS, and other food safety certificates.
3. Experience in the coconut industry would be an added advantage.
4. Should have a very good command of the English language.
5. Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office packages and email communications.
