Quality Assurance Engineer

Technical skills

1. Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans and test cases.
2. Conduct manual and automated testing for web applications, APIs, and backend systems.
3. Identify, document, and track bugs and performance issues using standard tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
4. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and UI/UX designers to understand features and technical implementation.
5. Perform regression testing and validate software releases across staging and production environments.
6. Ensure compliance with performance, security, usability, and cross-browser compatibility standards.
7. Fair understanding of SQL and related databases.

Minimum qualification

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
2. Proficient in test management tools and automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Postman).

Soft skills

1. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
2. Strong team player.
3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Minimum experience

1. Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
