Quality Assurance & Compliance Executive

We are a well-established company specializing in natural cosmetic products and wet amenities, offering a diverse portfolio tailored to meet the evolving demands of both local and international markets. Our operations are based in Ingiriya area.

We are currently seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Quality Assurance & Compliance Executive to join our team.

Key responsibilities

1. Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO standards, and internal quality policies.
2. Conduct quality inspections on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
3. Review and approve batch manufacturing and packaging records.
4. Prepare, update, and maintain QA documentation, including SOPs, specifications, COAs, MSDS, and logs.
5. Manage deviations and non-conformities, and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
6. Support internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
7. Monitor hygiene, safety, and quality practices within production and warehouse areas.
8. Ensure compliance with regulatory and labeling requirements.
9. Collaborate with production, R&D, and procurement teams on quality-related matters.
10. Conduct and support GMP and quality training programs for employees.
11. Assist in maintaining and continuously improving the Quality Management System (QMS).

Requirements

1. Degree or diploma in chemistry, microbiology, quality management, or a related field.
2. Experience in handling analytical instruments such as GC-MS (or similar).
3. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within the cosmetics, FMCG, or manufacturing industry.
4. Sound knowledge of GMP, ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 22716), and quality management systems.
5. Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
8. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
