Project Manager – AFC Happy Food (Assistant Manager)
Qualifications & experience
- Degree or diploma in agriculture, supply chain management, business management, or a related field.
- Prior experience in agriculture, FMCG, food distribution, procurement, or supply chain operations.
- Strong coordination, negotiation, and operational management skills with the ability to manage supplier and customer relationships effectively.
Key responsibilities
- Develop sustainable market linkages between farmers and urban consumers to strengthen the organically grown food supply chain.
- Identify business growth opportunities by expanding supplier networks, customer reach, and distribution channels for organic produce.
- Responsible for ensuring full cost recovery and long-term profitability by implementing effective procurement and pricing strategies while supporting fair and sustainable income opportunities for farmers.
- Coordinate and manage end-to-end supply chain and operational activities including sorting, packing, delivery coordination, inventory handling, and cash management to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Oversee efficient distribution operations to maintain product quality, minimize wastage, and optimize operational costs.
- Promote sustainable agricultural practices and support environmentally responsible sourcing aligned with the organization’s sustainability objectives.
