About the company

We are a Canadian based steel detailing company looking for a dedicated person to join our team of steel detailers and project managers.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare 3D models of structural steel buildings using details provided in structural and architectural drawings using Tekla Structures software.
2. Create and draft fabrication drawings for steel members and erection drawings for the building.
3. Prepare lists for estimation, ordering & shipping of structural and miscellaneous steel members.
4. Coordinate and resolve issues that may arise during a project using written requests (RFIs) and direct calls with the client.

Requirements

1. Bachelors/HND in Civil Engineering.
2. Knowledge in reading structural and architectural drawings.
3. Basic skills in Microsoft Excel.
4. Knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage.
5. Strong knowledge in spoken and written English.
