Production Engineer

Join a fast-growing Sri Lankan electronics manufacturing company exporting innovative industrial IoT products worldwide. We are looking for a Production Engineer who can take ownership of production planning, execution, and coordination to ensure on-time delivery and smooth operations across our manufacturing team.

Key responsibilities

1. Plan and schedule production activities based on order requirements and priorities
2. Coordinate and execute production tasks with assembly, testing, and procurement teams
3. Communicate with procurement team on material requirements and shortages
4. Monitor progress and follow up continuously to maintain delivery timelines
5. Keep internal systems updated with production status and progress
6. Communicate tasks, priorities, and updates clearly across departments
7. Identify bottlenecks and support improvements in efficiency and workflow
8. Ensure production targets and quality expectations are achieved

Requirements

1. Degree or diploma in electronic / mechanical / manufacturing / industrial engineering (or related field)
2. Minimum 1 year experience in the electronics field is required
3. Strong organizational and planning skills
4. Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and teams simultaneously
5. Good communication and leadership skills
6. Proficiency in spreadsheets and basic production management tools
7. Experience in manufacturing or production environments will be an added advantage
