Pricing executive

We are looking for a dynamic and detail oriented male candidate to join our team as a Pricing Executive in the freight forwarding division. The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of international logistics operations, pricing structures, and effective coordination with overseas agents and carrier partners.

Key responsibilities

1. Handle daily rate inquiries from customers and overseas agents.
2. Coordinate closely with overseas agents, carrier lines, and co-loaders to secure competitive freight rates for both air and sea shipments.
3. Analyze cost components, prepare accurate quotations, and ensure timely submission to customers and partners.
4. Maintain and update rate sheets while monitoring market trends to ensure competitive pricing strategies.
5. Build and sustain strong professional relationships with global partners and local vendors.
6. Support the sales and operations teams by providing accurate pricing and routing information.

Requirements

1. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in pricing or a related role within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
2. Sound knowledge of international shipping procedures, Incoterms, and carrier documentation.
3. Proven experience in coordinating with overseas agents, shipping lines, and airlines/co-loaders.
4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
5. Proficiency in MS Excel, email correspondence, and logistics-related software tools.
6. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
