Responsibilities

1. Co-operate with clients to determine their needs and advise them appropriate destination, modes of transportations, travel dates, costs and accommodations in Sri Lanka.
2. Plan and sell transportation, accommodation, tour packages etc.
3. Provide relevant information, brochures and publications (guides, local customs, maps, regulations, events etc.) to travelers.
4. Arrange promotional techniques and prepare promotional materials to sell itinerary tour packages.
5. Prepare tour costing and maintaining statistical records.
6. Negotiate rate structures with industry partners – local and international.
7. Preparation of invoices and collect payments through credit cards/cash upon arrival of clients.
8. Follow up on final tax invoices from hotels etc. and forward to accounts department.

Requirements

1. A minimum of 6 months or 1 year of experience in a similar role as a tour executive.
2. Freshers can apply.
3. Age below 30 years.
4. Ability to handle a foreign customer base will be an advantage.
5. Minimum educational qualification: GCE A/L or diploma.
6. Sound knowledge of fleet tours and regulatory requirements.
7. Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
8. Strong skills in handling the Indian market will be an advantage.
9. Proficiency in MS Office and email tools.
