Odoo ERP Functional Consultant

About the company

A leading tea manufacturing and value addition company, is seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Odoo functional consultant to support, enhance and optimize its ERP environment. The ideal candidate should have strong functional knowledge across business operations and be capable of bridging user requirements with system implementation.

Key responsibilities

1. Analyze business requirements and convert them into Odoo functional solutions.
2. Configure and support Odoo modules including sales, purchase, inventory, manufacturing (MRP), accounting, POS and CRM.
3. Conduct user requirement gathering sessions.
4. Prepare functional specifications and process documents.
5. Support ERP testing, UAT and user training.
6. Coordinate with technical teams for custom developments.
7. Perform system gap analysis and recommend improvements.
8. Assist with ERP go-live activities and post-implementation support.
9. Prepare SOPs, process flows and user manuals.
10. Monitor system adoption and process compliance.

Required qualifications

1. Degree / diploma in IT, business information systems, management, ERP or related field.
2. Minimum 2–5 years experience in ERP implementations.
3. Hands-on experience in Odoo ERP functional consulting.
4. Strong understanding of manufacturing, procurement, inventory, accounting and production planning.

Preferred skills

1. Experience with Odoo 18.
2. Exposure to manufacturing industries.
3. Business process re-engineering experience.
