Manager – Learning & Development
Job Profile
- Ensure the assigned business unit training is conducted with a process to measure effectiveness.
- Develop/source the most suitable training interventions to enhance customer experience and sales competencies to ensure all front-line staff delivers quality service at all customer touchpoints.
- Ensure all the identified skill gaps are bridged and closed.
- Conduct banking certification programs to enhance skills and ensure a readily available talent pipeline of identified staff groups.
- Design, Implement & execute professional & leadership competency development interventions including Manager Development & Executive Development Programs.
- Periodical follow-up on training needs. Operate within the Learning & Development budget seeking cost efficiencies.
Special Skills
- Effective/inspirational communicator with excellent written, spoken & negotiation skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of effective learning & development methods and delivery of same.
- Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices.
- Good presentation & training skills.
- Wide knowledge of computer systems & conversant in MS Office applications.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years experience with hands-on experience in Human Resource Development and Learning & Development.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar capacity.
- A degree or a professional qualification in Learning & Development / Human Resources.
- A license to conduct special programs and previous experience in the banking sector will be an added advantage
