Mechanical | HVAC engineer

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanical / HVAC engineer to join our MFC project team. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge and practical experience in HVAC and mechanical systems within building construction projects.

Key responsibilities

1. Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC and mechanical systems.
2. Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
3. Review HVAC shop drawings, technical submittals, and method statements.
4. Monitor site progress and ensure work is carried out according to project specifications and standards.
5. Assist in troubleshooting technical issues related to mechanical and HVAC systems.
6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
7. Prepare daily reports, progress updates, and related project documentation.
8. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure proper integration of MEP systems.

Requirements

1. Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
2. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HVAC and mechanical works in building construction projects.
3. Good knowledge of HVAC systems, ventilation, chilled water systems, and mechanical installations.
4. Familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Office applications.
5. Strong technical, communication, and coordination skills.
6. Experience in high-rise or large-scale construction projects will be an added advantage.
