Marketing | Sales & Guest Experience Lead
This is a high-impact “hybrid” role for a digital native who can navigate between creative storytelling (Instagram/TikTok), strategic sales (filling our 8-bedroom flagship), and platform management (Airbnb/Booking.com).
You will be the digital heartbeat of the business, working directly with Joe to ensure our 8-bedroom flagship is occupied by world-class hosts and our villa collection is optimized across all booking platforms.
What you’ll do
1. Growth & sales (the engine)
- Retreat partnerships: Proactively scout, pitch, and sign international yoga and wellness hosts for the jungle villa. Your goal is to maximize the occupancy of our 8-bedroom flagship.
- Ancillary revenue: Actively upsell our premium in-house services—private chefs, scooter rentals, massages, and curated excursions—to all guests across our 6 properties.
- Direct conversions: Turn social media and email inquiries into direct bookings through warm, persuasive communication.
2. Content & community (the soul)
- Social media storytelling: Create and schedule high-quality, aesthetic content (reels, stories, TikToks) that captures the lifestyle and architecture of our villas.
- Community management: Grow our digital presence with intention, responding to comments and DMs to build a loyal global community.
3. Guest experience & platform management
- Platform mastery: Manage and optimize our listings on Airbnb, Booking.com, and other OTAs. Ensure calendars are synced and descriptions are evocative.
- The first impression: Respond to all platform messages with speed and warmth, ensuring our response rates remain high and our “superhost” status is protected.
- Journey coordination: Collect necessary guest details and coordinate with the on-site teams in Ahangama to ensure a flawless handover for every check-in.
Who you are
- The aesthetic expert: You have a natural eye for design and know how to showcase a premium brand on social media.
- The proactive seller: You enjoy the “hunt” for new partnerships and the satisfaction of hitting booking targets.
- Platform fluent: You are experienced in managing Airbnb and Booking.com (and ideally a property management system/channel manager).
- Hyper-organized: Managing an 8-bedroom venue plus 5 individual villas requires someone who never misses a detail.
- A natural communicator: Your English is warm, polished, and persuasive.
Compensation
- Salary range: LKR 150,000 – 250,000 per month (commensurate with experience).
- Performance bonus: We offer a commission structure based on successfully secured retreat bookings and hit targets on service upsells.
