Manager – Research

We are seeking a dynamic professional with a passion for capital markets to join our research team. As a manager – research you will produce investment recommendations, develop financial models, shape trading strategy, and mentor junior analysts – all while influencing high-stakes financial strategies.

Key responsibilities

1. Prepare financial and capital market research reports covering all relevant financial and non-financial factors to guide client advisory.
2. Formulate and recommend the investment view of CSE listed companies.
3. Develop and update financial models and produce company, industry, and economic outlook reports.
4. Assist in developing trading strategy recommendations, including written research notes and the marketing of investment ideas to clients.
5. Oversee the preparation of weekly capital market status reports to all relevant internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner.
6. Mentor and guide junior analysts and monitor internal workflows to ensure efficient, high-quality research output.

Key qualifications & skills

1. Economics/ finance, or other suitable field of study from a recognised university or CFA, ACCA, or CA qualification.
2. A sound knowledge of the equity market and the ability to build financial models and translate data into clear investment views.
3. Excellent writing and analytical skills coupled with good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
4. A motivated team player with a willingness to work under pressure.
5. A minimum of 5 – 6 years in equity research.
